Self Help & Peer Support services are provided BY people who experience a mental health and/or addiction issue FOR people who experience a mental health and/or addictions issue. Peer Support is about helping another person move on with their life – to recover. Learn about the programs and services we offer, including virtual and in-person peer support options!
Now Open! We are excited to welcome children, youth and their families to our new building at 737 Woolwich St in Guelph. Half of the first floor and all of the second floor is home to the CMHA WW children’s services team, which includes the following supports and care options: counselling and treatment 0-18, child psychiatry, crisis, youth outreach, intensive service coordination, childcare and early years programming, family support options, infant and child development support and a walk-in service for children, youth, and families (every Tuesday afternoon!).
Whether you are making a one-time or monthly gift, honouring the memory of a loved one, celebrating a milestone or participating in or hosting a fundraising event, your donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association of Waterloo Wellington (CMHA WW) will support the 1 in 5 youth, adults, and seniors experiencing mental health, addictions, and developmental issues get the help they need.
Our corporate and workplace services are custom designed sessions for professionals in their workplace. These courses provide skills for leadership to support staff, as well as skill building for staff who support clients/patients/consumers. Workplace programs can include customized training, certificate programs, wellness program audits, psychological health and safety support and more.
