The Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women is a 5K and 10K walk/run in support of local women’s mental health programs in 18 cities across Canada. The “Waterloo” run is in support of CMHA Waterloo Wellington.

Women’s mental health is continuously impacted by changes in society. 60% of women aged 18 to 34 and 63% of women aged 35 to 54 said their mental health had worsened over the past two years. Our purpose is to support these women by bringing communities together in support of local women’s mental health programs to make communities healthier.

• All proceeds from the purchase of these cards is being donated to CMHA Waterloo Wellington’s Self Help Peer Support Group: Spark of Brilliance.
• Spark of Brilliance is a peer-driven, community-based mental health initiative that provides arts-based experiences that foster healing and discovery through the arts. Each of these cards features artwork created by a Spark of Brilliance participant who has consented to have their artwork displayed on cards and prints for fundraising purposes. The artist’s name and contact information is displayed on the back of each card in hopes they may receive inquiries about opportunities to sell more of their work.
• A set of 10 cards are $20.
• The 8×10 prints are $20 each.
