1. What is involved in your role?

As a Helpdesk Technician at CMHA Waterloo Wellington, I am a first point of contact for IT-related issues. My role involves a range of responsibilities related to providing technical support and assistance to staff.

2. What brought you to CMHA?

My journey to become an IT Helpdesk technician at CMHA WW was profoundly inspired by their unwavering dedication to improving mental health and well-being in our communities. CMHA’s tireless effort in promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and providing crucial support align perfectly with my desire to make a meaningful contribution. By offering technical expertise and support, I aim to be part of CMHA’s mission to ensure that their vital work in metal health advocacy and assistance remains seamlessly connected and accessible, ultimately contributing to a more compassionate and inclusive society.

3. How do you support people at CMHA in your role?

In my role as an IT Helpdesk technician at CMHA WW, I play a crucial role in supporting the people who are at the heart of our mission. I provide technical assistance and solutions to our dedicated staff and clients, ensuring that their IT systems operate smoothly. By troubleshooting issues, resolving software and hardware problems, and offering guidance on best practices.

Through my work, I aim to facilitate a seamless digital environment that supports the well-being and effectiveness of everyone involved in CMHA’s important initiatives.

4. What are you proud of during your time at CMHA?

I take immense pride in my role at CMHA because every day, I have an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and the community.
