CMHA Waterloo Wellington Receives Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada

We are proud to share that CMHA Waterloo Wellington has achieved Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada. This designation shows our commitment to providing safe, high-quality health services.

In June 2024, CMHA WW participated in the accreditation evaluation process. Accreditation Canada is an internationally recognized health care body. The process of being accredited involves visits from health care professionals representing Accreditation Canada, who consulted with CMHA WW staff, volunteers, clients, and families to get a sense of the care practices within our organization.

Accreditation is a process that enables CMHA WW to evaluate and improve the quality and safety of our services through peer review and self-assessment. Accreditation is a key tool to demonstrate CMHA WW’s accountability and ongoing commitment to achieve better care and continuous quality improvement for our clients and families.

The previous accreditation for CMHA WW took place in 2019, where we received Accredited with Exemplary Standing. Since the 2019 evaluation, CMHA WW has continued to improve quality care and uphold this exemplary standard.
