CMHA WW celebrates National Caregiver Day

Today, CMHA WW joins individuals and organizations across the country in celebrating National Caregiver Day.
Each year, National Caregiver Day falls on the first Tuesday in April. The day is intended to honour caregivers — the countless parents, children, siblings, spouses and friends who provide unpaid care to support someone with a diminishing physical ability, a debilitating cognitive condition or a chronic life-limiting illness.

Provincially, the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) program is available to provide free, evidence-based, and use cognitive behavioural therapy to treat adults 18+ experiencing depression, anxiety, and anxiety-related conditions. For more information, visit the Ontario Health website.
