CMHA WW Community Advisory Council (CAC)

The Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington (CMHA WW) Community Advisory Council (CAC) is a volunteer group of participants and community members who support CMHA WW’s vision of “A strong and supportive community where people can access flexible and inclusive mental health, substance use health, and developmental services that grow and change with their needs.”

We amplify diverse voices of people with lived and living experiences of developmental, mental health, and substance use health challenges – especially those often unheard. Through storytelling, we advocate for solutions that promote healing, health, and well-being for individuals, families, and communities.

Interested in sharing valuable feedback from your experiences to help CMHA WW improve its services? Willing to share in a group setting? If you are someone who has had experience with CMHA WW services, we welcome you to consider joining the CAC.

Please contact us via email at council@cmhaww.ca if you have any questions.

Looking for family and caregiver resources? Check out our list of resources curated for families and caregivers of clients receiving support through CMHA WW programs and services.
