CHL and Exodus Watch Co. Partner to Support Mental Health

We’re pleased to share a recent collaboration involving our valued partner, Exodus Watch Co.

Earlier this year, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) reached out to Exodus Watch Co. with a request to present their watches as gifts for players and officials at the Memorial Cup in Kelowna, BC. This collaboration marked a meaningful opportunity to connect sport, community, and mental health in a powerful way.

As proud partners of the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington (CMHA WW), Exodus Watch Co. continues to center giving back as part of its mission. With every watch sold, $10 supports mental health initiatives locally, helping improve access to care and resources. Their guiding purpose: to improve mental health resources with every ticking second.

Through their partnership with the CHL, this shared commitment extended even further. The CHL contributed $10 per watch directly to CMHA Waterloo Wellington, totaling $1,550 in support of local mental health programs.

The impact didn’t stop there. The CHL also matched this donation nationally, contributing an additional $1,550 to CMHA’s Talk Today program, which supports the mental health of players across the league. Through Talk Today, athletes and staff receive training in “Team Up,” a sport-specific mental health and suicide alertness program, fostering safer and more supportive team environments.

This initiative was made even more meaningful by a proud local highlight: the Kitchener Rangers, who take part in the Talk Today program with CMHA Waterloo Wellington, captured the Memorial Cup and were presented with an Exodus Watch Co. It’s a strong reminder of how vital mental health support is in sport at every level.

This collaboration highlights how partnerships across sectors can drive real change. We’re grateful to both Exodus Watch Co. and the CHL for their leadership and commitment to mental health in our community and beyond.
