Senior Director of Service – Helen Fishburn on 101.1 The Grand – Centre Wellington Update

Our Senior Director of Service Helen Fishburn recently appeared on 101.1 The Grand to talk about our services and partnerships in Centre Wellington. Additional funding from the WWLHIN that has allowed Family Counselling and Support Services to offer quick access same day counselling services in Fergus. It will run on Tuesdays & Thursdays until March 31, 2019 – 3:30pm-7pm at the Centre Wellington District High School, 905 Scotland Street. No appointment needed. The Mount Forest Family Health Team is partnering to provide a quick access same day counselling clinic in Mount Forest on Mondays until March 31, 2019 at 525 Dublin Street in Mt. Forest. Call 519-824-2431 for more information. We have grief groups and training in risk assessment for family doctors. CMHA WW is working on a community engagement plan to find out how we can tailor our services and better support those who are struggling in Centre Wellington. Our Strengthening Families Program is for parents and youth 12-16 years old. It runs in Fergus on Tuesdays starting in March. As part of the program you will learn new skills each week, better your communication and learn about resources and topics important to youth growing up in our rural community.
