CMHA WW response to COVID-19 includes launching two new websites

CMHA WW continues to be a strong advocate for mental health resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic. The agency has quickly launched two new sites Here4healthcare and Here4help for frontline workers and the general public, respectively. Here4healthcare provides free, immediate mental health and addiction care to front line healthcare workers, while Here4help is a collection of resources and guidance for adults; children, youth and parents/guardians; seniors and caregivers; employers and employees as well as healthcare workers.

Staff have been busy promoting these new services in the community. A first for CMHA WW, we broadcast The Grand 101’s Swap Talk with Helen Fishburn and Kristin Kerr of Stonehenge Therapeutic Community on Facebook Livewww.facebook.com/cmhaww/videos/3168788846485215/Helen was also interviewed on Rogers TV’s Grand River Region COVID-19 updaterogerstv.com/media?lid=237&rid=8&gid=455103. Both Helen and Nurse Practitioner Cathy Miller spoke with Dr. Marcel Dore for a mental-health focused episode as part of his series on the impact of the pandemic in our communitywww.youtube.com/channel/UCxOATXp4mgFdONWgGh65TTw.

Our hope is that Here4healthcare and Here4help can be vital resources for our community as we navigate through these uncertain times. Please share this info widely!
