DENSO Matches Donations for Women’s Mental Health This Week for International Women’s Day
Mar 12, 2026

In honour of International Women’s Day, DENSO is proud to support women’s mental health as the Women’s Empowerment Matching Sponsor of the Shoppers Run for Women in support of CMHA Waterloo Wellington. For a limited time this week, DENSO will match all donations, doubling the impact for women and families across our community.
DENSO’s involvement in the Run for Women is rooted in its core values, known as the DENSO Spirit, which emphasizes community engagement, wellbeing, and supporting people to thrive. After participating in the Run for Women last year, DENSO associates were inspired by the sense of unity and purpose created through the event.
“Empowering women especially when it comes to mental health and wellbeing is important because women often carry many responsibilities both professionally and personally,” shared Amy Ecsedi Director, Production Control at DENSO. “When women are supported, the positive impact extends beyond the individual to families, workplaces, and communities.”
Mental health is viewed at DENSO as a critical safety issue, equal in importance to physical health. This belief is reflected both internally through employee supports and a strong culture of inclusion and externally through partnerships like the Run for Women.
DENSO is especially proud to support CMHA Waterloo Wellington, which provides essential mental health services to nearly 18,000 people each year. Matching donations will help CMHA WW continue and expand these vital programs.
“You don’t have to carry everything on your own,” Ecsedi shared in a message to women in the community. “There are caring people and resources like CMHA Waterloo Wellington ready to help.”
Donate this week to the Shoppers Run for Women and have your gift matched by DENSO, doubling support for women’s mental health in our community.
