Community Education

CMHA Waterloo Wellington offers Mental Health Promotion and Education across the region, including Cambridge, Waterloo, Kitchener, Guelph, Centre and North Wellington and surrounding areas.

Our team of highly trained mental health educators share knowledge, skills and practical tools to support your mental health and allow you to support those around you. We offer our training sessions free of charge to local, volunteer-led community groups and grassroots organizations, including support groups, service clubs, volunteer organizations, seniors’ groups, faith communities, recreational clubs, and community associations. Our team is also available to support the community by attending wellness and information fairs to share information with attendees about mental health and the services provided by CMHA Waterloo Wellington.  Request our attendance by completing this booking request form.

*To support participant confidentiality, psychological safety, and open discussion, AI-enabled tools such as transcription services, meeting assistants, recording platforms, AI note-takers, and generative AI applications may not be used during CMHA Waterloo Wellington training sessions without prior written approval from CMHA Waterloo Wellington. The Client agrees to communicate this requirement to all participants before the training begins.
