Infectious respiratory diseases, such as colds, influenza and pneumonia are a major cause of illness and even death every year. CMHA WW has established protocols to enhance infection control practices. Infection control packs including: gloves, masks and hand sanitizer are available to all SSAH workers via their coordinator. Packs can be picked up or replaced at any time please review the infection control information and connect with your coordinator if you have any questions.

We encourage SSAH Workers to participate in professional development opportunities please use the links to gain more information about workshops and seminars that are available for all SSAH workers.
Our Children Our Future Sessions. A wide variety of workshops are available as a result of the partnership among several organizations, including Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington, Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health, KidsAbility, Quality Child Care Initiative, Ontario Early Years, and local Child Care Centres.
These workshops are open to all Child Care providers as well as individuals who work or care for children in any capacity. Workshops are scheduled for Guelph and Mount Forest. Information and registration
Autism Spectrum Disorder Workshops for respite workers. This Respite Training Initiative has been funded by the Ministry of Child and Youth Services, and is focusing on increasing the knowledge and skills of families, workers and agency staff about Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Respite Services.
