CMHA WW is involved in a number of system transformation initiatives to improve care in addiction, mental health and developmental needs.
Addictions and Mental Health service providers are undertaking a quality improvement process to transform how care is delivered in Waterloo Wellington. Moving on Mental Health Wellington Dufferin is part of provincial and local momentum driving toward mental health services that align with the needs of children, youth and families, and a desire to provide the best possible service experience to people who need support. Moving on Mental Health WD (MOMH) is a province-wide initiative that defines the action needed to realize Ontario’s Comprehensive Mental Health and Addictions Strategy. As part of this initiative, lead agencies were identified to represent regions across Ontario.
